Chef Opportunities – InterContinental Melbourne

InterContinental Melbourne is currently seeking passionate and dedicated chefs to join our Breakfast and A La Carte Team. This is an excellent opportunity to build your career in a global luxury hotel brand while working in a supportive and professional environment.

Available Positions

Breakfast Commis Chef – $28.12 per hour

(Penalty rates apply for weekends, public holidays, and after 7pm)

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months’ experience in a café or hotel restaurant as a chef
• Upper-intermediate level of English or higher
• Ability to prepare omelettes and simple à la carte breakfast dishes
• Valid working visa with at least 1 year remaining
• Availability for early shifts (5:30am – 1:30pm)
• At least 1 year’s experience of continuous employment in any industry

Breakfast Demi Chef

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a café or hotel restaurant (breakfast service)
• Valid working visa with at least 1 year remaining
• At least 1 year’s experience of continuous employment in any industry

A La Carte Chef

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year’s experience in an à la carte restaurant or hotel
• Positive and hardworking attitude
• Valid working visa with at least 1 year remaining
• Availability for shifts between 11:30am – 11:00pm (average 8 hours per day)
• At least 1 year’s experience of continuous employment in any industry
