Job Title: Chef / Cook – Pizza & Pasta
Hours: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM, 4 days per week
Payrate: $25-$30 per hour
Option to become full time, and high pay rates in the future
*Sponsorship visa could be possible for exceptional applicants
About the Role
We’re seeking a skilled and reliable Chef/Cook with experience in pizza and pasta preparation to join our team. This role requires someone who can handle all aspects of kitchen operations, from prepping ingredients and managing food safety to contributing ideas for improving systems and developing new menu items.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate pizzas and pasta to a consistently high standard
- Manage ingredient prep, portioning, and stock rotation
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen at all times
- Create and maintain prep lists to ensure efficient daily operations
- Collaborate on menu development and suggest improvements to processes
- Assist in all areas of the restaurant as needed
- Uphold strict food safety and hygiene standards
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience with pizza and pasta preparation in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene
- Highly reliable — punctuality and consistency are essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to take initiative and offer constructive recommendations
- Flexibility to help out wherever needed in the restaurant
